Initial Setup Checks

Before contacting support, please confirm:

  • The SQUID is securely connected inline with the hose
  • All hose fittings are tight and free of leaks
  • Water supply is turned on
  • The unit is powered on and charged

Many setup issues are resolved by checking connections and power.

Water Flow or Volume Issues

If water flow stops early or the volume seems incorrect:

  • Check that the hose is not kinked or blocked
  • Ensure sufficient water pressure from the supply
  • Re-run the calibration process if recently moved or reconnected

Accurate flow depends on consistent water pressure and proper calibration.

Power or Battery Questions

If the unit does not turn on or shuts off unexpectedly:

  • Confirm the battery is charged
  • Recharge the unit fully and try again
  • Avoid using the device if the battery is fully depleted

The built-in battery is designed for mobile use around the barn.

Calibration & Accuracy

If measurements seem inconsistent:

  • Perform the calibration process according to the instructions
  • Use a stable water source during calibration
  • Recalibrate if switching locations or hose setups

Calibration ensures reliable and repeatable dosing.

Warranty Information

The SQUID Water Doser is built for daily use in demanding barn environments. Each unit includes a limited manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and begins on the date of delivery.

What’s covered

  1. Manufacturing defects in materials
  2. Functional issues caused by normal use
  3. Internal component failures not caused by misuse

What’s not covered

  1. Damage caused by misuse, neglect
  2. Improper installation
  3. Normal wear and tear
  4. Damage caused by freezing
  5. Chemical exposure, or improper cleaning
  6. Modifications, unauthorized repairs
  7. Non-approved accessories
