Most calf barns still mix by eye: fill the barrel “about here,” add a few buckets of water, and call it good. The problem is that “about here” changes with every person and every busy morning. When your water volume jumps around:
- Some batches are too weak, and calves don’t gain like they should.
- Some batches are too rich, and you can end up with scours or upset calves.
- Training new staff is harder, and everyone argues about “the right way” to mix.
SQUID doesn’t replace your nutritionist or your milk replacer directions. It simply takes the guesswork out of the water, so your powder and water match the same recipe every single feeding.

What is the SQUID Water Doser?
SQUID is a compact, electronic water meter that mounts inline on your hose. You tell it how much water to run—anywhere from 1-26 Gal (1-100 L) —and it automatically shuts off when it hits that number.
- Doses 1-26 Gal (1-100 L) per run with about ±3% accuracy
